Trophy Tour 2009 - Lagos, Nigeria
A three-hour Trophy procession to the Champions Planet Dome made for a fitting kick-off to the 2009 Trophy Tour in Lagos. Local hero and former Chelsea, Newcastle United and RSC Anderlecht player, Celestine Babayaro, greeted the 5,000-strong crowd of excited fans, giving out countless autographs and posing for photos. Every visitor could also have their photo taken with the famous Trophy and enjoy a packed programme of entertainment, including table football, Playstation games and mini soccer. Heineken's presentation of the Trophy in Nigeria reached 80 million TV viewers throughout the country.
